– According to a newspaper report the next day, fans pulled up a 4-by-8 foot piece of floor and stood on it, similar to fans at the Woodstock show. When Fred adressed them and encouraged them to keep going, a half dozen of these pieces were in the air with people standing on them. With that said, the band played ‘Nookie’ to close the show.
