– The band jammed the intro of ‘Master Of Puppets’ by Metallica after the second chorus of ‘Hot Dog’ before continuing the song.
Other Notes:
– This festival was originally planned to take place at Nürburgring Infield under the name “Grüne Hölle Rock”, but has been moved to Gelsenkirchen 4 weeks before the festival took place.
– The band plagued sound issues set by the city. They couldn’t turn the PA up louder than 99dB.
– “Evil” Jared Hasselhoff from The Bloodhound Gang watched the show from the side of the stage.
