Show Notes:
– This was the first time ever that ‘Out Of Style’ and ‘Dirty Rotten Bizkit’ were played live in it’s entirety.
– This was the first time that ‘Dad Vibes’ was played live. However, John is not playing his drums live. This was also so far the only time where Wes played guitar during the verses. Fred aborted the song during the bridge due to the crowd not moving. ‘Thieves’ (Ministry cover) was played in it’s short version instead.
– This was the first time that DJ Lethal played the ‘Turn It Up, Bitch’ interlude over the PA (after ‘Dirty Rotten Bizkit’). Other interludes at the show were as follows: ‘Chúntaros Style’ by El Gran Silencio after ‘Break Stuff’, ‘Party Up (Up In Here)’ by DMX and ‘La Chona’ by Los Tucanes de Tijuana after ‘Livin’ It Up’, ‘El Mariachi Loco’ by Héctor Varela and ‘Agua’ (remix) by J Balvin & Tainy after ‘Nookie’, ‘Jump Around’ by House Of Pain after ‘Hot Dog’, ‘Botellas’ by GTA after ‘My Way’ and ‘Rawhide’ by Frankie Laine (The Blues Brothers version) after ‘Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle)’. DJ Lethal accidently started playing ‘Party Up (Up In Here)’ after ‘My Generation’ but corrected himself right away.
– This was also the first time since 2012.02.25 Bowen Hills that the band opened the show with the Space Odyssey intro followed by their instrumental rendition of ‘Also sprach Zarathustra, op. 30’ by Richard Strauss.
– ‘Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehcle)’ was played without the last chorus.
– ‘Nookie’ was played until the second chorus. Fred shouted ‘Full Nelson’ at the end of the second chorus but Wes didn’t start the song.
– ‘Hot Dog’ was originally to be played after ‘Break Stuff’ but moved to the spot after ‘Nookie’. Wes played the bridge of ‘Master Of Puppets’ by Metallica before starting the song. The song had the extra “audible” on the setlist paper, possibly meaning that it was mainly meant to be played as an instrumental version. Fred skipped most of the choruses, the second part of the bridge and the second verse entirely.
– Fred dressed up as Dr. Chapatín from “Los supergenios de la mesa cuadrada”, a Mexican TV series, for the show.
– Fred picked up a fan called Miguel on stage to join him on vocals for ‘Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle)’. As he introduced himself to the crowd, Wes briefly jammed the intro of ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ by Guns n’ Roses.
– ‘Behind Blue Eyes’ (The Who cover) was on the setlist after ‘Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle)’ but dropped during the show due to time constraints.
– This was the first and only time ever that ‘Viva Mexico’ by Héctor Varel (Mariachi de Arranque version) was played over the PA as show outro.
– The band didn’t get to soundcheck for this show resulting in a terrible mix throughout the show.
Other Notes:
– This was the first show of the Still Sucks touring cycle.
– Even though the band was announced as headliner the band didn’t play last. Maldita Vecindad played after Limp Bizkit.
