– This show was cancelled on August 07th along with the rest of the tour. The statement by Etix, ticket vendor for this show, said:
Out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety of the band, crew and most of all the fans, the Limp Bizkit August tour is being cancelled. This includes your date on August 9th, 2021 at Rapids Theatre.
Refunds are available from your point of purchase. Tickets purchased online will be automatically refunded by Etix within 30 business days. Please contact Etix with any questions about your order.
On August 10th, Billboard released a short interview with Fred – quoted from Billboard:
In short, the system is still very flawed. Even if the performers, crews, staff, and promoters do their best to ensure safety on and behind the stage, that doesn’t ensure the safety of the audience as a whole. We are all in this together, and we all — individually and as a whole — have to make our best efforts to be as responsible and proactive as possible moving forward to combat and stop spreading COVID.” Durst said it was “just perception” that led to the cancellation.
